Our primary purpose and service to our community is to provide a place where people can come and be a part of a greater family. Christian life involves more than just believing – it involves belonging.
It¹s been said that every family tree has to have some sap. The dictionary describes sap as ³the watery fluid that circulates through a plant, carrying food and other substances to the various tissues.² I like that. When we laugh together, cry together, pray for one another, encourage each other, love and forgive through conflicts, we are experiencing what real family is. We are together for the marriages, the funerals, the baby dedications, the traumas, failures, successes and joys of this incredibly beautiful, fantastic life that God has breathed into us.
Belonging to a life-giving, caring local church is like having good sap running through your family tree. You are nourished, spiritually alive and growing.
