The New Castle Courier Times covers local news in New Castle and Henry County, Indiana. The paper began as the Indiana Sun which was bought by a wholesale grocer named John Grubbs who in 1841 renamed it the Indiana Courier. Nixon Newspapers acquired the Courier Times in 1985 and it was later sold to Paxton Media Group, a family-owned company based in Paducah, Kentucky.
