The Miles Ahead Crusade with Miles McPherson will take place on April 25 and April 26 at the San Diego Sports Arena and should draw an audience of over 20,000. This youth-oriented free event will feature a variety of alternative and contemporary bands such as Reality Check, The Katinas and Raze.
The Crusades, begun in 1996, have drawn over 42,000 youth in Southern California to hear the straightforward biblical messages of Miles McPherson. Known for his humorous yet bold, down-to-earth style, McPherson delivers biblical answers for the tough issues that youth in the 90s are facing.
McPherson accepted Christ in 1984 and says he has a burden on his heart for kids.
“They desperately want answers….and hope for a meaningful and fruitful life,” he said. “That is what our crusade is about. We are bringing the hope of the Gospel-it’s the only thing that can change their lives.”
Running from 6 p.m. until around 8 p.m., the crusade will open with music followed by a message from McPherson.
