This may be the final stop in San Diego for Logos II, the international missions ship. Operation Mobilization has announced plans to replace the aging ship in an effort to expand its ministry.

A newer, more efficient $18 million ship could be commissioned in the next 14 months. It would increase crew capacity from 200 to 350 and overnight guest accommodations from 20 to 100 beds.

O.M. representatives will be available to explain the plans during the Logos II visit to San Diego on May 10-26. The ship will be docked at Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego, just south of the Star of India.

Logos II has a crew of 200 missionaries from 50 nations. The ship will offer numerous programs and opportunities for involvement through May.

Throughout the upcoming visit there will be numerous opportunities to attend programs and seminars, tour the ship, shop in the extensive book fair onboard, and meet Christians from around the world.

The program brochure contains more details and is available by calling (858) 874-8112. In addition to the scheduled program, the book fair will be open daily, and tours ($2 per adult or $5 per family suggested donation) of the ship will be offered by advance reservation. Details of the various activities are also listed in the Good News, Etc. Community Calendar and in the ad on the next page.
