Franklin Graham was just six years old when his father, evangelist Billy Graham, conducted preaching crusades in Adelaide, Australia.
On Feb. 1, Franklin, now 45, concluded a three-day crusade there, speaking to some 24,000 people at the city’s Football Park. A total of 73,600 people of all ages turned out over three nights to hear energetic Christian music and simple, straightforward messages from the younger Graham. The trip was Franklin Graham’s second preaching mission to Australia. He spoke to 114,000 people at rallies in Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, and Townsville in 1996.
