As part of a concerted effort to reconfigure programs to have more relevance with the local Christian community, Christian Heritage College in El Cajon is seeking input from pastors regarding their awareness of the college in general and knowledge about specific CHC programs.
Last February, an initial survey was mailed to over 600 churches with a 17% response rate. Soon to be in local pastors’ hands will be another survey targeting information on an important segment of the local population – working adults who have not received a college degree.
CLIMB, CHC’s degree completion program, is now three years old, and 103 adults have graduated from the program with a liberal arts degree. Presently, 195 students are enrolled in one of the three programs which include business management, human development, and Christian ministries. A growing number of general education programs are allowing more and more adults to complete their degree while continuing to work, within the framework of a biblically-integrated curriculum.
