The California ProLife Council San Diego is hosting its annual oratory contest on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m. The competition, to be held at Valley Bible Church, 1350 Discovery St. in San Marcos, is open to high school juniors and seniors. Contestants will give a five- to seven-minute speech on a pro-life topic such as euthanasia, infanticide or abortion.

Cash prizes for first through third places range from $100 to $25, and the winner of the San Diego contest will go on to the state finals in Sacramento in April.
