Rolltop Music of San Diego will host its popular Adventures Worship Seminar on Feb. 20-21 at Clairemont Emmanuel Baptist Church. That Friday, the Adventures Band will lead a night of community worship, open to all, at 7:30 p.m.
The seminar will be held on Saturday, 8:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., and it features a variety of workshops, including foundations of worship, recognizing the voice of the Holy Spirit, recording original music, sound in worship, vocals in worship, drums and rhythm, keyboards, song writing, arranging music for a band, getting started in Christian music, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, and developing a worshipping choir/ensemble.
The Adventures Worship Seminar has been conducted in a number of U.S. cities and has been effective in helping worship leaders, musicians, sound men and Christian artists perfect their skills.
Seminar instructors include Tim Coffman, producer and founder of Rolltop Music; Rob Gowing, music minister at College Avenue Baptist Church; Larry McNamer, touring sound engineer and owner of Essex Sound; Rob Melh, worship leader and recording artist; Anthony Da Luz, guitarist and recording artist; and members of the Adventures Band, a traveling worship team that has recorded the “Adventures In God’s Presence” worship series.
